Are 5th Wheel Installation Kit Brackets and Hardware Available Without the Rails on a 2007 Dodge Ram

Question:

I picked up a used RBW Little rocker 5th wheel hitch and rails for my 07 Dodge 2500 Ram long bed. I like the idea of the custom brackets, can I buy just them only and associated bolts without the rails?

On your 2007 Dodge Ram 2500, we do carry just the custom fit 5th wheel installation kit brackets and hardware without the springs. You would need Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit, # RP50140. First, you will need to make sure that the RBW rails have the same mounting holes as the Reese rails so that you will be able to use the brackets.

There will need to be a total of 8 mounting holes on each side of the rail; 4 at the front and 4 at the back. The distance between the inner most set, center to center, should be 31-1/2 inches. The distance between the next set should be 33-3/4 inches. The third set should be 37.15 inches apart. And the outer most set should be 40-3/4 inches apart.

Ideally, you should use the Reese brackets with the Reese rails. Together in a set, it is the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit, # RP50140-58. If you decide to use this kit, you will need to make sure the locations for mounting the 5th wheel to the Reese rails is compatible. The center to center distance between the inner most holes is 9.990 inches. The next set of holes is 20.624 inches apart. The outer most holes are 29 inches apart. Check that against the center to center distance between the feet on your Little Rocker.
