Where Is 4-Way Trailer Wiring Connector Stored on 2016 Volvo XC90

Question:

Where do you put the trailer wiring connector, is there a bracket that mounts to the hitch? I am planning on using the OEM wiring due to its integration with the vehicle electronics. I have watched your excellent video on installing the Drawtite hitch - Very well done.

The 4-way trailer connector at the rear of your 2016 Volvo XC90 that is installed using the wiring harness # 118683 stores in the trunk of your vehicle when not in use. When you are going to be using it, the harness will out of your trunk. The padding between the trunk lid and the vehicle will protect the wiring from being damaged with the trunk lid closed on it. Storing the connector inside the vehicle helps protect it and keep it clean.
