Replacement 7-Way and 4-Way Recommendation for 2006 Chevy Silverado

I have searched here for a wiring harness for a 2006 Silverado and have found 2 that fit. A 40975 and a 30955. Will either work and if so what is the difference between the 2

Both the Pollak 7-Way part # HM40975 and the Hopkins 7-Way part # 30955 are a confirmed fit for replacement 7-ways for your 2006 Chevy Silverado.

Both of these are pretty similar in function with the biggest difference being the connector styles. The # 30955 has a lid that opens up and the # HM40975 opens to the side. Aside from that they both do the same thing.
