Replacement Pipe Mount for Trailer Swivel Jack

Question:

How loose is the Jack when placed in the round mount with the pin in? Like will it rotate a little bit even though the pin is in? I have a different one right now that when its down and the pin is in I can shift my trailer back a few inches as it rotates on the welded on pipe. Does that makes sense? I basically need zero rotational movement when the pin is in.

The degree of tightness of a mounted pipe-mount jack like # TJDP-7000S-B depends on the jack's fit on the trailer mount and on the pin. Any differences in the diameters of the holes versus the pin will allow for some small amount of movement. If for example the trailer is older and very well-used the holes in its pipe mount could be rounded out slightly; the same could happen to the mount on the jack. If the holes are enlarged from years of friction you might be able to find a slightly larger diameter pin to secure it that would take up some of that play.

We do offer replacement pipe mounts in various sizes. You can see all of them on the linked page. These accept pins of varying sizes too.
