Length of Shank on Curt 2 Inch Trailer Ball Part # A-90
Question:
I need a 2 ball for a reese 66151. The ball above was recommeded. However, the length is confusing me. The description says it is 2-1/4 long shank while the product spec claims it is •Shank length: 2-5/8 . Which is correct and will it work for this hitch? http://www.etrailer.com/Balls/Curt/A-90.html

The 2 Inch Diameter Ball with Medium Shank, part # A-90 would be the correct ball to use with your Reese SC weight distribution system.
The total length of the shank is 2-5/8 inches, while the length of the threaded portion is 2-1/4.
