What Are Mounting Hole Dimensions On Draw-Tite And B&W Hitch For 1987 Ford F-250 Truck

Question:

Hello. I am replacing the hitch on my 1987 ford f250 with standard bumper. I have an eaz-lift-V5, but am looking to install a higher capacity hitch. How ever, i would perfer not to drill any new holes in the frame rails. The distance between the bolt holes in the v5 are as follows, 0inch - 6 1/8inch - 17. Do you know if either the Draw-tite 41904 or the B+W BWHDRH25122 share similar bolt hole spacing? According to the pictures on your website these two look very close. Thanks

I went to the warehouse and measured the mounting holes on the flange of the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 41904. The distance from the first hole to the middle hole center to center is 4-5/8 inches and the distance between the middle and last hole center to center is 9-inches.

For the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # BWHDRH25122 the distance between the first two holes is
5-15/16 inches. From the center of the middle hole to center of the third hole the measurement is 11-3/8 inches.

It does not appear these holes match the measurements you mentioned but both hitches are designed to work with your truck. You may need to drill new holes in the frame to get the hitch you want to fit.
