Can One Wire Feed Both Circuit Breakers of ETBC7 Install Kit
Question:
Purchased ETBC7 harness kit. After looking at the wiring schematic and install videos, can I run just one 12v wire from the battery to the 2 circuit breakers which are farther away? The single 12v wire would connect to one circuit breaker and a short jumper to the adjacent circuit breaker.

Expert Reply:
You would not want to run a single wire for both circuit breakers to the positive post of the battery. That would potentially cause both breakers to trip when only one circuit would need to as well as other issues related.
Best option is to use part # 10-2-1 if you only wanted to run one "wire" this is a double bonded wire that contains two 10 gauge wires so essentially you would achieve what you wanted without diminishing the effectiveness of the circuit breakers.
