7-Way Recommendation for Installing on Older Horse Trailer
Question:
My horse trailer is being rewired. It is an older trailer gooseneck 2 horse made by Tracer Trailers. It has the normal ground, right turn and brake, left turn and brake, running lights and electric trailer brakes. No aux or reverse lights. I was told it needs a 7 way pin traditional wiring plug. Would this model work? 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector, 8foot Long or do have a better solution. Thank you for your help.

I have a great solution for you, but the part # 50-87-009 is the vehicle side trailer connector. It is a 7-way like you need though so you are on the right track.
For your trailer you would want the part # H20036 which would go well with the part # 50-87-009 if you installed it on your tow vehicle.
I attached a help article that has trailer wiring diagrams as well.
