What Items Are Needed To Flat-Tow 2014 Ford C-Max
Question:
Just want to know if I need accessories in addition to the Invisibrake before I place my order. Already have the Blue towbar and am purchasing the mating baseplate. Thanks!

There are a few items needed when flat-towing your C-Max.
You will need safety cables like part # RM-643 and tow bar lighting like part # 154-792-118158. I have attached a link to an installation video for the wiring on a C-Max.
You will need a stop light switch part # RM-751459. This ensures the brake system is functioning correctly.
You may want to to check the owner's manual under Recreational Towing to see if there are any restrictions or conditions that need to be met when you are flat-towing your C-Max. I have attached links to a coouple of helpful articles that explain what is needed when flat-towing a vehicle you can check out.
You also want to make sure you tow your vehicle as level as possible. I have attached a link to our high-low adapters you can take a look at as well as the helpful article that explains how to make sure you choose the correct one.
