Can Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount Adapter Be Used with Any Weight Distribution Shank
Question:
can all of these weight distribution shanks and the ba-1 convert a ball be used as regular hitches without the use of weight distributing equipment? i would just like a 10k lb 10inch adjustable hitch to shove into the stock tow hitch on my 2500 series pickup truck and still have a few ba-1 convert a balls with different size balls mounted in them so i dont have to keep changing the ball on the hitch that i have every time i hook up to a different trailer.

The Ball Mount Adapter # BA-1 can be used with any weight distribution shanks with 3/4 inch shank diameter and holes 1-1/4 inch apart. Which is the standard. The only shank type you will not be able to use it with are shanks with a hollow channel, such as part # RP63971. The holes will not line up with the holes on the adapter. But if you stick with a solid design like the # AMAC1 you'll be just fine.
