Question:
I want to carry bikes but don't want to put a hitch on my 2017 Accord. Will this bike rack the Outway fit?

Trunk mount bike racks are a great way to carry bikes when you don't have or want to install a trailer hitch on your vehicle. The Thule OutWay # TH45JV does indeed fit your 2017 Honda Accord.
I have an older version of this rack and it is by far the easiest trunk mount rack I have ever used. What makes it so easy are the 2 retractable cables it uses to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 straps like other carriers.
The excess cable stores inside the carrier so there are no loose ends flapping around. The cables are also more durable compared to the straps. And the access to the cable mechanism can be locked to deter theft of the rack.
The OutWay also features a built-in cable lock to deter bike theft. It has road-dampening technology to better protect the bike frames. And the arms can move independently in and out, up and down to fit a wide variety of bikes. I have included a link to a video review of this OutWay line for you.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
