Recommended Threaded Hitch Pin for Towing a Trailer
Question:
I was wondering is there a rating for the Yakima threaded hitch bolts, can it be used as a pin for ball type adapters for towing trailers

I verified with Yakima that their threaded hitch pins are not designed to be used for trailering. They haven't been tested in this fashion so I cannot recommend you try it.
If you're looking for a threaded hitch pin the Let's Go Aero Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 will work with a 2 inch receiver. For a 1-1/4 inch receiver use # e98879.
