Yes, I can assist you in finding a fifth-wheel hitch for your 2009 Dodge Ram Crew Cab with 5.5 bed. You will need an installation kit, fifth wheel hitch, wiring, and since you have such a short truck bed you will need to use a Sidewinder coupler.
For an installation kit, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50142-58.
For a fifth-wheel hitch I would recommend Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - 20,000 lbs, part # RP30928, which has a 20,000 pound capacity.
For wiring I would recommend 7-Way Connector 7 Foot Loop, part # 20027, which will plug into 7-way connector at rear of your Dodge Ram and provide wiring plug for your fifth-wheel trailer.
Since you have such a short truck bed, you will need to use a Sidewinder pin box coupler. You will need to check the manufacturer and model number of the pin box on your fifth-wheel to pick the correct Sidewinder. I have linked an FAQ that includes a chart to choose the correct Sidewinder. A Sidewinder is required to be used on truck beds shorter than 6 feet when using a fifth wheel hitch. You'll also need Wedge Kit # RP44FR to prevent the king pin of the sidewinder from pivoting in the jaws of the # RP30928.
Even when using a Sidewinder with your 5.5 short bed, you will probably not be able to make 90 degree turns. You will want to be extra careful when driving over uneven pavement or dips and when making turns on uneven pavement. You will also want to make sure not to exceed the towing capacity of your vehicle, hitch or coupler. Your towing setup is only as strong as the lowest rated component.
I have linked an FAQ on sidewinders below that includes a chart to help you choose the correct Sidewinder. I have also linked instructions for the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kits and Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch. There is also a link to a video review of the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30928.
