Recommended Ball Mount With Minimum 7-1/2 inch Length
Question:
2016 GL 350. My manual says I should use a ball mount with a 7 1/2inch center top center mesurement from the pin to the ball mount hole and a 2 3/4inch max . I see this one is 8 1/2inch center to center. What do you have that meets these mesuements? I like the fact that this mount takes the clunck away.

I recommend the Curt Class III Ballmount with 2 inch Ball, # C45036, for your application. This ball mount will meet all of the parameters in your owners manual. It's two inch drop fits within the parameters and it is 7-1/2 inches from the center of the pin hole to the center of the hitch ball. Unfortunately there are no adjustable ball mounts that meet Mercedes Benz requirements for your vehicle.
To give you a mount that takes the clunk you mentioned away, I recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches, # 63232. This locking hitch pin adds security to your ball mount while giving you a quieter ride.
