Can Swift Hitch Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera be Used to Help Hook Up a Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Do you have a demonstration video for connection to a R/V fifth wheel? I am confused about the comment made of how it is only usable at 90 degrees. I see that for hooking to a tag along. Am I missing something? My situation is the fifth is set low in the bed and my truck set high, therefore it is very hard to see the hitch even leaning back. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we do not have a video of he Swift Hitch Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor # 04928 on an RV.

With that being said I think the comment about the camera being used at 90 degrees came from a previous question asked on our site where the customer was trying to use the camera as a standard wireless back up camera on their motorhome. In this situation the customer wanted the camera to view straight out so it would need to be mounted completely horizontal which the camera will not do.

For your application, viewing the hook up of your fifth wheel trailer, the camera will work just fine.
