Will This Chevrolet - Brake and Tail Light Receiver Cover # CR-007C fit 1-1/4 inch Hitches

Question:

My 04 chevy Astro AWD had a receiver cover like CR-007C in the 1-1/4 receiver until I backed into something. Id love to replace it, but your description says Fits 2-inch. The illustration looks as if the tube is identical to the Ford version that says it fits both sizes. Is one of the descriptions incorrect/ What are the actual inner and outer dimensions of the attachment tube. My hitch is Drawtite I modified my bumper a little to acomodate the receiver cover.

I spoke with my contact at Pilot and he said that this Chevrolet - Brake and Tail Light Receiver Cover, part # CR-007C, will only fit 2 inch hitches, but I have a solution for you. You could use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter - 1-1/4" (Class II) to 2" - 6" Long # C45785 to connect your hitch cover, however, it will stick out 6 inches from the hitch pin hole.
