Trailer Hitch and Trailer Wiring Recommendations for a 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible
Question:
I did see your note that this hitch works for a 1998 Cobra so maybe this is not necessary. Could you verify that this hitch works with a 1996 Cobra Convertible? If so is there a wiring harness that you recommend?

The Curt hitch # C11041 will only fit the V6 Mustangs. Since your Mustang Cobra has a V8 engine, we do not have a hitch for it.
If you would like to carry bikes, we have a trunk mount rack, the Thule OutWay # TH45JV that is a confirmed fit for your 1998 Mustang Convertible. I attached a video of this rack for you to check out.
