Recommended Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch on 2012 Ford F-350 with Factory Rail Kit

Question:

I am very interested in the RVK3300 for my 2012 Ford F-350 with the factory prep puck system. I have the 6 3/4 bed. I dont see a part number listed for this bed. Would this hitch be compatible?

The B&W Companion # BWRVK3300 will fit into the factory rails of your 2012 Ford F-350. However, you may have turning clearance issues with a 6-3/4 foot bed unless you have a sliding hitch. Without a sliding hitch you will need a Sidewinder kingpin. If you already have a Sidewinder or Reese Revolution pin box on your fifth wheel trailer then it will work just fine. If you're interested in changing your pin box to a Sidewinder you can match up your trailer's pin box part number on the attached article to see if we have one available.

Another option is to use a sliding fifth wheel hitch. The Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550038 is a great option because of it's 14 inches of travel and it doesn't require you to get out of your truck to actuate the slide.
