Replacement Motor for Landing Gear on 2003 Coachman 5th Wheel
Question:
will it fit 2003 coach man fifth wheel

Expert Reply:
Manufacturers of 5th wheel trailers do not usually maintain detailed records of the landing gear they install but we do carry replacement motors that work for a wide range of brands like Lippert, Venture, Ram and others. Often a replacement motor from another brand will also work just fine too. I went to our warehouse to measure this motor's mounting hole spacing and the linked photo shows this 4-inch dimension.
The part # LC142178 is specified to fit both etrailer brand and Ram landing gear model # RVLG-8000.
This landing gear set is rated for 8000-lbs.
If you can find a brand name and/or part number on your existing motor that will make it easier to find the correct replacement part. You'll also want to note the weight rating of your landing gear set-up to ensure you select a motor with the required capacity.
