What Pressure Should Trailer Tires be Kept At

Question:

What is the correct PSI for 205/75/15 single axle? The side wall has max 50. I am having wear on inner and outer edges, cupping? Im about to take a trip and am concerned about the tires now.

Helpful Expert Reply:

For trailer tires you have to keep the tires inflated to the max PSI rating that is listed on the side wall at all times. This ensures you get proper tread wear and the full weight capacity for the tire.

Inner and outside tire wear indicates that you don't have proper inflation.

I attached a help article on trailer tires for you to check out as well.
