Tire Recommendations for an Airstream Travel Trailer that's had Several Blow Outs

Question:

after two blowouts of the original tires on the RV replaced by Hi-Run i had no choice, i want the best i can buy and some confidence. the size of the wheels is 15inch and the size of the tires is 235-75-15. after two blowouts i want peace of mind. the RV weighs 3,900 dry and @ 4,600 loaded. i would rather not increase my wheel size to 16inch because i am not sure they would fit, but i do know there are better load ratings, etc. in that size rim. help, suggestions? Thanks very much.

You can get a load range E in an ST225/75-15, # TR225LRE. This tire is rated for 2,830 pounds at 80 psi. It has a ply rating of 10. It is important to inflate the tires to the maximum psi to reach the maximum capacity. It will also help the tires run cooler which is good because heat is the number 1 enemy of tires.

These tires also have an M speed rating which translates to 81 miles per hour. I have included a link to a video review of this tire and a link to our help article on trailer tires for you.
