Weight Distribution System Recommendation for 7k Rated Car Hauler

Question:

Im curious about a weight distribution system system for my 18foot car hauler trailer. Its a 7k gwvr trailer, tandem axle and both axles have brakes. I use it mostly to haul my tractor, roughly 4000 lbs. can you recommend the size of WD system that would work best

Assuming your 7k trailer is being used at it's max capacity that would mean your tongue weight is going to be between 700 and 1,050 lbs when loaded.

For a weight distribution system that would work well with that range you would want the Reese Strait Line System part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight range of 600 to 1,200 lbs and features the only sway control available that works to fight sway before it starts.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
