Connecting A Journey Brake Controller To A 2009 Lincoln Navigator
Question:
I have a Journey HD 52740 the wires from the unit are red, white, dark blue and black. The harness that came with my truck has a White labled ground, a red labled battery, dark blue labled trailer brakes and a GREEN labled stop lamp. Do I connect all like color wires then go Black to green? My truck is a 09 navigator Thanks

To wire the Journey HD 52740 brake controller to your 2009 Lincoln Navigator you will want to connect the wires as listed below:
The red wire (Stoplight) on your brake controller is connected to the green wire on your factory wiring harness.
The white wire (Ground) on your brake controller connects to the white wire on your harness.
The dark blue wire (Trailer Brakes) on your brake controller connects to the dark blue wire on your harness.
The black wire (12v power) on your brake controller connects to the red wire on your harness.
