Tire Chain Recommendation for 2016 Thor RV Built on Ford E-450 Chassis
Question:
I have a RV 2016 Thor on a Ford E450 chassis. For an upcoming trip I need to carry Snow traction. The Ford manual suggest Class S type, However the rear tires are Duals. The Tire size is a LT225 75 R16 Load range E tire. Do they make Class S chains or cables for dual tires. and if so do you carry or can you refer where to find.

We do have Class S tire chains that will fit your tire size of LT225/75R16 but none that are setup to fit both rear tires at the same time. However we do have a solution.
What you can do is install a set of chains on the outside tires and still get great traction in the snow. For that we have the Titan Chains part # TC2319 which will fit your tire size, are pretty easy to install, and will give you great traction. That price is tough to beat on these.
The only other set I would strongly recommend you consider is the # TH04115245 if you are looking for the absolutely easiest to install tire chains. These will literally install in seconds which is nice when having to deal with inclement weather. These also have a 5 year warranty which is basically unheard of in the tire chain world.
