Cargo Box, Basket, and Bag Recommendations for a 2008 Mini Cooper with Factory Roof Rack

Which basket, box or bag fits my MINI COOPER 2008 which has a rack system installed by MINI I believe it is OEM?

There are several direct-fit cargo boxes that are compatible with factory cross bars that run side to side on the 2008 Mini Cooper. I recommend something on the short side that is less likely to interfere with the rear hatch on the vehicle. The Yakima RocketBox Pro 14, # Y07192, would be a good choice. For a bag, as long as you have cross bars that run side to side, you could use any roof mounted cargo bag. I recommend the Rightline Sport 2 Rooftop Cargo Bag, # RL100S20, as a good entry level, cost effective bag. This bag can mount to cross bars, side rails, or a cargo basket. This bag is considered waterproof and does a great job against teh elements but we still recommend placing items you want to remain dry in plastic bags.
