What is Metal Tubing Diameter of Thule Canyon XT Cargo Basket
Question:
I would like to know what is the tubing diameter for the Thule Canyon rack, as I would like to buy a padded line clamp to attach things to the rack. Thank you.

I went out to our test fit area to measure the diameter of the metal tubing on the Thule Canyon XT TH859XT cargo basket for you.
The tubing that makes up the frame of the basket measures just over an inch in diameter, approximately 1.01 inches.
The smaller diameter tubing that makes up the bottom and sides of the basket measures just over half an inch, at 0.504 inches.
