Replacement Fan-Tastic Vent Fan Lift Motor for a 2001 Country Coach RV

Question:

I need a replacement lift motor for a fantastic vent that was original equipment in a 2001 Country Coach. The unit you sell for the b series vent does not fit. Thanks for the help.

I spoke with my contact at Fan-Tastic Fan who verified the replacement lift motor options for Country Coach Motorhomes manufactured prior to 2014. She let me know that you'll be able to determine the correct replacement motor based on the following features. If you have the vent with a diamond shaped thumb slide you would use the # FVK6010-81 and we have that part available. If you have the vent with a pear shaped plastic housing, then unfortunately we no longer have the part that you need.

After checking your etrailer.com order history, I also found that you had previously ordered part FVK6050-80. If this is the lift motor that did not fit your 2001 Country Coach, you will need to order # FVK6010-81.

Keep in mind that replacement Auto Lift Motor # FVK6010-81 is designed for use in Fan-Tastic Vent roof vents with 17-rpm motors made in 2014 or later. However, these will still fit older RV models and also replace lower rpm motors. For older models, you will need to cross the wires. For instance, instead of red to red and black to black, you will need to connect the red wire to the black wire and the black wire to the red wire.
