Tire Chain Sizes Suitable for 2016 Cadillac Escalade 2WD with P285/45R22 Tires

Question:

Will the Thule K-Summit fit my 2016 2WD Cadillac Escalade? Im relying on your advice. I am aware of the GM warning regarding tire chains, but I dont see any clearance problems on the rear tires on my model Escalade. I have Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza P285/45R22 and I cannot find any reference to the K-77 size being suitable with this size tire. Will they work if used on the rear tires 2WD?

The Thule K-Summit XXL Size K77 Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # TH02230K77 do fit some 285mm width tires, P285/45-20 and P285/45-21, but are not recommended for any 22-inch rim applications.

We do offer tire chains made for your P285/45R22 tire size and these can be seen on the linked page. Of these the only chains rated S-Class (meaning they are low-profile chains that requires less clearance) is the Titan # TC2327.

GM states on page 319 of the 2016 Escalade owner's manual that tire chains should not be used due to the risk of damage to brake or suspension components.
