Maximum Distance of Mounting Holes on Ultra-Fab Electric Trailer Jack
Question:
2004 Haulmark Enclosed CarHauler 10,400 Gross trailer weight rating. My original manual tongue jack has a 2.25 inch diameter outer tube with 3 mounting bolts on 3 INCH CENTERS. Will the slotted holes on this electric jack mounting plate allow me to mount this electric jack on my trailer? I underdtand that the mounting bracket has slotted holes, but what is the maximum distance allowed on center between mounting bolts? Your specifications only mention bolts that are either 2 inch to 2.25 inch on center. Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The maximum distance of the 6 slotted mounting holes on the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Trailer Jack # UF38-944017 is approximately 3-1/2 inches. So your 3 inch centers aren't going to be an issue.
