Will Primus IQ Brake Controller Work with Vintage Trailer Brakes
Question:
Can the Primus IQ brake controller be used on vintage 1960s travel trailers? Some earlier years used 6v magnets and later years changed to 12v magnets. Are there any other concerns? Thank you.

If the trailer you have has 12 volt brakes then yes the Primus IQ part # TK90160 would work well to activate the brakes. If the trailer is a 6 volt trailer I do not have a solution that would work aside from replacing the assemblies with ones that are 12 volt. Would need to know what size assemblies you need.
