Question:
Hi, I have grand cherokee laredo 2011, i want to buy hitch bike carrier for my car but also i do not have trailer hitch on my car. I have several questions about 2 product youhave for trailer hitch and hitch bike carrier. First is about this product Hidden Hitch Class III Receiver Hitch - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, is it fit to my car with specs above. Second is that for hitch bike carrier Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches. Is it fith with that trailer hitch. Third question is that for those bike carrier. Do you have the same type but only for 2 bikes, because 4 bikes too much for me. Thanks and Regards,

The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2011 Grand Cherokee is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 75699. The Hidden Hitch has been discontinued but since it was made by the same company that makes Draw-Tite they both have the same dimensions and work the same.
This is a Class lll hitch and it has a 2-inch receiver opening. When choosing a hitch mounted accessory you want to make sure there is enough clearance for the accessory at the back of your Jeep. The distance from the hitch pin to the back of a vehicle is important to know. For the # 75699, the distance is 3-1/4 inches.
The bike carrier I recommend for your Jeep is the Thule Camber 2 part # TH9058. This is a 2-bike carrier that features anti-sway cradles and the carrier also tilts when empty for easy access to the rear cargo area. You have plenty of clearance at the back of your Jeep because the closest part of the carrier to the center of the hitch pin hole is 5-3/4 inches. I have attached a link to an video review of this carrier.
If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
