How Does BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # Bak48120 Lock to Truck Bed

How does this one lock... Pretty much decided on this style cover but how to choose one when the same company makes several

The BAK Tonneau part # BAK48120 has a passive locking system. Basically once your tailgate is closed and locked on your 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 5-1/2 foot the tonneau would be locked since the only way to access it's latching mechanism is with the tailgate open.
So keeping the tailgate locked will keep the tonneau cover locked. This is nice too because it doesn't require you to keep track of an additional key for it.
