Question:
Hooked up controller to Honda Pilot 2013. Install was very easy. Used adaptor to hook under dash. Again very easy. But screen is blank shows nothing?

I would start by checking your fuse box for a blown or missing fuse since you have a blank screen display on your trailer brake controller # 90885. Be sure to turn the ignition switch to lock beforehand. You will locate the missing or blown "Trailer E-Brake" (20A) fuse in your engine compartment sub fuse box. I found this information under the "Fuses" Section of a 2013 Honda Pilot's owners manual online.
If you do not have a fuse issue, then you may have a grounding issue. Be sure to verify that the white brake controller wire (ground function) is securely attached to the negative battery terminal. Common ground wire issues include loose connections and damaged/exposed wiring that touches a metal surface. Also keep in mind that your properly functioning brake controller # 90885 will have a blank display when it is in power saving mode which occurs when there is no motion for 15 minutes.
