Expert Reply:
Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Kit, item # F2299, will fit on your 2005 Dodge 3500 Dually 4 wheel drive quad cab. The overload springs will not interfere with the installation.
The upper brackets included in the install kit will install differently, you will need to select the one designed for 4 wheel drive models which will rest on a tab on the left frame rail with the overload springs on your truck.
Once installed you will be able to improve the ride and handling of your truck by adding or letting pressure out of the air springs.
You may also want to consider the Firestone Level Command II, item # F2158, compressor kit. This kit will allow you to adjust the pressure in the air springs from the cab of the vehicle while on the road.
