The Curt Class III 2 Inch Hitch, part # 13650, will fit your 2011 Mercury Mariner. This hitch has a gross towing weight capacity of 3,500 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs, but you will want to check your owners manual to find out what the maximum towing capacity will be for your Mariner. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Curt hitch.
If you will be towing with this hitch I am including a list of other items you will need.
Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # C45010
Pin and Clip, part # PC3
Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19247, or Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19260
For wiring, if you have a factory tow package use Draw-Tite Wiring Harness, part # 118251. If you do not have the factory tow package use Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118551. I am including links to the installation instructions on both wiring harnesses.
