How Does a Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Install in a 2012 GMC Sierra

Question:

I just bought a 2012 GMC Sierra SLT. I have a tekonsha P3 that I used in my Honda Pilot 2013 and Im trying to locate the correct wire adapter. Ive read 3016 for 2014 and above but have yet to see any information that tells me if it fits the 2012. What is the correct wire adapter?

Actually you already have everything you need to install your Prodigy P3 part # 90195 in your 2012 GMC Sierra.

No plug is present under the dash of the truck, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash. Check out the install video I attached to see how this is done on a similar 2011 Sierra.
