Troubleshooting Hyrdrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator for Drum Brakes
Question:
When I connect all wires brakes work but when setting still not using brakes it makes a ticking noise in box is this normal I have it hooked to a 2013 f250

The ticking sound is definitely not normal. I contacted HydraStar to see if this is something they've run across and they said to start by checking your ground wires and make sure they're connected directly to the breakaway battery. The next step would be to check the rest of the wiring for any kinks or pinches.
If you check the wiring and are still getting the ticking sound let me know and we can perform more troubleshooting.
