Selecting Hitch-Mount Cargo Carrier for Use on 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon
Question:
Will this fit on a 2016 Unlimited Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock Edition with a 35 spare tire on the back? If not, can you recommend one similar that will? 24x60 Pro Series Cargo Carrier for 2inch Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs

It is easy to measure to confirm the fit of a hitch-mount cargo carrier on a vehicle such as your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that has a rear-mounted full-size spare tire.
Simply measure from the hitch pin hole on your receiver tube to the rear-most part of the vehicle - in your case this will likely be the back edge of the spare tire. This dimension tells you the amount of clearance you need from a hitch carrier like the Pro Series Cargo Carrier # 63153. The linked article covers this measurement process in detail.
The Pro Series Cargo Carrier # 63153 provides 12-3/4-inches of clearance from its hitch pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier. If your hole-to-tire measurement is for example, 11-inches, then this carrier will fit with interference. An optional light kit is offered for this carrier, part # 20174, and this requires a 4-pole harness on the Jeep, such as # C55124 from Curt.
All 2-inch hitch carriers are linked for you.
If none of the hitch carrier offers enough clearance you may need to use a hitch adapter # D210 which will extend your hole-to-tire distance by 7-1/2-inches without causing a loss of hitch capacity. Have a look at the linked dimensional photo to see if this will clear the bottom of your spare.
