Question:

You just need a ball mount with the proper amount of rise to tow the trailer level. There are ball mounts with all different rises and drops available. I have included a link that explains how to measure for rise/drop.
Then it is just a matter of looking through our selections of ball mounts, see link, to get one with the closest amount of rise needed.
There are a couple of other things to consider such as the receiver opening size on the hitch. The hitches available for your 2000 Chevy Astro are Class II hitches with 1-1/4 inch receivers and Class III with 2 inch receivers.
And once you have selected a ball mount be sure to see what the ball hole diameter is to determine if a ball you already have will work or if you need a different one. I have linked the ball main page as well.
