Slipper Spring Replacement Solution for Boat Trailer with 20 inch Springs

Question:

Howdy, I have a Sea Lander Boat trailer that has slipper springs 4 leaf 20inch long with the Pin at 10inch What do you have?? I was looking at the 24 1/2inch but the pin is at 12?. Can I mount the axel ahead of the pin? It has built in fenders that cant be moved. Thanks

The only solution you have would be to move the hangers of your suspension to allow longer springs to fit since we do not have 20 inch long slipper springs. This will require a welder.

If the trailer calls for a 2,000 lb axle rated spring the part # SP-179275 would work well. Or if you have a 1,000 lb axle the part # SP-177275 would be what you need.
