Plug-In Adapter For Tekonsha Brake Controller For 2017 Toyota Tacoma With Factory Tow Package

Question:

I have traded my 2014 Tundra for a 2017 Tacoma with the towing package. I removed the brake controller from the Tundra that I purchased from you back then. When installing the brake controller on the Tacoma and looking for the cable connector I could not find any matching connectors. Thoughts? Thanks!

If you have a Tekonsha brake controller like part # 90885 or # 90195 we have the plug-in adapter you need for your 2017 Tacoma.

You will need part # 3031-P. This plugs into the harness that can be found at the top of the carpet just to the left of the brake pedal. It may be taped to another harness in that location or tucked up under the dash making it a bit tougher to find. I verified this with my contact at Tekonsha.

If you have another brand brake controller let me know and I will be glad to see if we have the correct plug-in harness that will work for you.
