Will Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System Work With 5th Airborne Pin Box
Question:
I have a Reese 5th Airborne 5AB-E510-710 Pin Box. Can the Andersen 3200 rail mount be used with the Airborne properly. I put a friends Andersen 3200 on my truck for a test of cab clearance and the Airborne dose not seem to be articulating like before with a standard slider hitch on bumps in the road.

You can use the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System, part # AM3200 with your 5th Airborne pin box on your fifth wheel trailer.
The # AM3200 has a capacity of 20,000-lbs and installs in the gooseneck ball hole in the bed of your truck. This adapter is constructed of aluminum so it is lighter and will not corrode.
An adapter like # AM3200 cannot be used with a Sidewinder due to the problem that you would have two pivot points and would be a safety issue, but if the 5th Airborne you have is not a Sidewinder you will be just fine.
