Will Demco Hijacker AutoSlide Fifth Wheel Hitch Give 2013 Ford F-250 Turning Clearance  

Question:

I have a F-250 2013 short bed with a 60 gallon external fuel tank on the Bed. I have a standard 20K 5th wheel hitch, I made a dent on corner of truck cab while turning, will a Demco auto slider 21K fit the bed .

If your truck has the factory rail kit with the pucks in the truck bed then the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550038 that you referenced would fit and would give you the turning clearance needed when making sharp turns.

If your truck bed has the standard above bed fifth wheel rails instead you would want the part # DM8550035 which is basically the exact same hitch but with different mounting tabs.

Either hitch will slide back 14 inches automatically to give you the needed clearance to make tight turns.
