Brake Controller and Wiring Harness for 2001 Dodge Ram with Factory Tow Package

I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 Laramie. It is off road package, with factory tow package. Was wondering where the port/clip is located for the plug n play trailer brake box. Thanks

Your 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with factory tow package makes it extremely easy to add a brake controller like Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. I've included a couple videos to help with the visual, but the clip you are looking for is blue and is located behind the emergency brake pedal under the dash. It is part of a larger group of wires, but easy to find with the blue clip. You will want to use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, # 3020-P, if you go with a Tekonsha brake controller. The plug and play wiring harnesses are brand specific.
