Recommended Roof Rack on 2015 and 2016 Ford Edge with Panoramic Sunroof and No Factory Rails

Im sure you have come across this question before. 2015-2016 Ford Edge SUVs with the panoramic sunroof dont have a roof rack option from the factory. What system would you recommend for those wanting to put a car top carrier on or maybe even a few pairs of skis?

For a 2016 or 2015 Ford Edge with the panoramic sunroof and no factory rails I recommend the Yakima system with the JetStream Crossbars. This consists of the 50 inch JetStream Crossbars # Y00425, the BaseLine Towers # Y28TR, and the BaseClip Fit Kit # Y06102 for the front, and # Y06139 for the rear clips.

The Yakima JetStream crossbars are aerodynamic bars that are extremely quiet, and also help to reduce drag. The noise factor will be the biggest impact because of the sunroof. Using square or round bars will be louder which can also be a problem, but even more so with the sunroof. When carrying items on the rack you'll want to keep the roof closed because whatever you're carrying may interfere with it.
