Will Adjusting Husky Weight Distribution Head Angle Down Put More Weight on Truck Front Axle

Question:

2013 Silverado w tow package pulling a 2011 aero lite 32. Everything is level when loaded and hooked up, but steering is loose. If I add washers to the head does this transfer more weight to the front of the tv without kicking the level to the curb?

Adding washers to angle the head down could actually increase the weight at the ball which means it is pushing down more at the back of the truck and could make the problem worse. It would also put less tension on the spring bars.

What you might need is more tension on the spring bars so it is lifting more on the truck end. You may have to experiment with different head angles and spring bar tension to get it to where you want it but there is enough adjustment in the Center Line system # HT32218 that I am certain you will find that sweet spot.
