Key Spins But Does Not Unlock Fulton Outboard Lock FOML0127
Question:
How do I get a lock off my ball hitch? I have the key, got it pulled out and it just spins. How do I get the lock off?

I spoke with my contact at Fulton and if lubrication does not work to separate the two halves of the Fulton outboard motor lock, # FOML0127, then you have a couple of options.
If this does not work then there could be something broken in the lock mechanism and a locksmith might be able to get it unlocked. Otherwise the lock would have to be drilled out.
It is possible that something inside the lock has broken and will no longer allow the lock to unlock (or lock).
