To have a reduced wind noise from the roof rack of your 2014 Dodge Journey, you will want to utilize an aerodynamic crossbar system. Thule makes a crossbar that is called the WingBar that is designed specifically with your concern in mind and is one of the quietest on the market. The WingBar crossbars are a sturdy aluminum and have integrated T-slots that make it easy to slide T-track-mounted accessories into the bars for simple mounting. I've included a demo video for you.
If you have factory installed rails on your vehicle, I'd suggest the 53 inch Thule Wingbar Crossbars # TH711420 and the Thule Evo Foot Pack # TH710401 which will easily mount to existing rails. It has an optional lock, # TH450400, if you want that added security.
If you have no existing rails, then I'd recommend the Thule AeroBlade Traverse Aero Bar Roof Rack. This rack would consist of Thule Rapid Travers Foot Pack, # TH480R, which will mount to naked roof and has a patented technology that hold the rack to the vehicle more securely than other systems on the market. You'll also need the Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit, # THKIT1658, and then Thule WingBar Load Bars in 60 inch length, # TH711520, to complete the rack.
Roof racks tend to make noise when installed and not in use, so you may choose to remove it when not in use. Once the options are initially installed, they are easy to remove and reinstall without much hassle. For the quieter rack while installed, I think the Aero WingBar system is a good way to go. You may also consider adding a Thule AirScreen Fairing, # TH82WV, to reduce noise and drag.
