What hitch should I put on my 16 Wrangler Unlimited? I have a bike rack, but it wont clear my buddies spare tire on his Wrangler. I also want to use a cargo carrier from time to time

For your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch, # DT78MR. It is a custom fit Class III hitch for your vehicle with the ability to carry a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the outer point of your bumper, the receiver will be about 4 1/2 inches out which allows more clearance from your spare tire for accessories.

This hitch can support a gross trailer weight of 3500 lbs and has a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs. This is a sturdy hitch that will handle your bike rack or a cargo carrier, just make sure you are also aware of your limits stated in your vehicle's owners manual.

If you don't yet have a cargo carrier, I'd suggest the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier, # C18145, or something similar.
