Replacement Bearings and Seals for 3,500lb Boat Trailer Axle without Numbers on Parts  

Question:

Are the bearings, seals and hub sizes standard for a 3500# axle with 5 on 4.5 lugs? I need to replace the hub assemblies on my boat trailer and this is all the info I have. There are no numbers on the bearings. Not sure what to buy. thanks

A very common inner bearing and outer bearing for 3,500lb axles is # L68149 (inner) and # L44649 (outer) along with the grease seal # 58846. Unfortunately, not all axles are created equal so to be sure this is what your boat trailer uses, you will want to measure your spindle with a digital caliper like # PTW80157.
